I was a member of the PCG. Stay away. My dad sent an email to Gerald Flurry stating that his conscience forbade him to perform a marriage ceramony on a woman who was divorced and her husband attended the same church until he learned more about the biblical doctrine about marriage and re-marriage. He asked that another paster would marry her while he learned more about the doctrine. He was told to stay home from church as well as his entire family, including myself. I was only a teenager. I called the church leader in my area to ask why I could no longer attend church, and they said my dad was being disobedient to the prophet and that they assumed I was also disobedient since I was his daughter. I was eventually counseled by gerald flurry’s son in law wayne turgeon that I was expected to file for emancipation and leave my home because my house was ruled by the devil, and my entire family was “marked” as being posessed by the devil (including my 8 year old little sister, apparently). Horseshit. They expect you to obey blindly or you apparently have to face the tribulation alone. And not two situations are necessarily comparable. How they treat some will not be how they treat others. A lot of clicks and populatity contests out there in Edmond OK.
